Hi! I'm Bill Pressprich and I joined ParishSOFT as President and CEO earlier this year. I'm delighted that David Rosenberg invited me to be part of the ParishSOFT team. In my short time here, I have enjoyed meeting many of you - literally hundreds of Priests, DRE/CREs, Business Managers, and others - during customer visits and trade shows. Also, I greatly appreciate our staff - they are a talented group, dedicated to serving our customers and the Church.
A mutual friend introduced me to David last November. I quickly came to respect him as a technical visionary. Even more importantly, he has a talent for "connecting" with parish ministers and understanding the needs of church and school offices. As a result, he designs products which are truly innovative and uniquely suited to meet needs both today and in the future. You may not know that David has also been a much sought-after catechist and music minister for many years and recently completed his course work for the Deaconate.
Our biggest challenge has been getting the word out - about the real difference we can make for parish life to organize, communicate and collaborate (for an example, see the accompanying article about St. John's in Fenton Michigan!). Our products and services were marketed exclusively by another firm until recently. Accordingly, we have been building our own marketing and sales program. While challenging, it has been a lot of fun and the huge response we've received so far has been very affirming. By the way, we sincerely appreciate all of the referrals we receive from you as well as the time you take to provide references to prospects.
A little about myself. Cindy, my wife, and I have seven children, with Sarah, our oldest, just completing her first year at the University of Michigan. John Michael, our youngest, moved in about two weeks after Sarah left for college last fall. Our household is both busy and loud! Cindy and I have also had the privilege of presenting Marriage Encounter weekends for the past seven years. We have been active in the charismatic renewal for many years through our parish and an ecumenical community.
Career-wise, I have been involved with software companies for many years. Most recently, I was part of the executive team at Creative Solutions, a software and web services company serving public accountants. While there, I helped to grow the company from less than 10,000 customers to more than 50,000. Creative Solutions is known for its outstanding products and support.
I believe that ParishSOFT can make a real difference for the parishes we serve - streamlining administrative tasks, improving communications, and fostering collaboration. Our whole team is dedicated to serving you and we welcome your feedback. We take what you say very seriously and use it to improve what we do.
