It must have fallen through the cracks. ParishSOFT can be run on Macs through a couple ways. It is possible to have a dual boot system or other software that will allow you to run a Windows operating system on a Mac. Besides this, ParishSOFT offers Remote Solutions which allows you to access your database from anywhere you have a high speed Internet connection because we host your database. This can be done with both Windows and Mac machines.

If you have further questions, feel free to contact us at 866-930-4774x1.

Sincerely,
Frank

RE: System Recommendations for using ParishSoft

Joanne,

The following link will take you to our most current system requirements.
http://www.parishsoft.com/churchsoftware/churchsoftware_systemrequirements.htm

As of September 2009, here are the requirements for ParishSOFT.

Parish Products
System Requirements

Minimum System Requirements

Hardware

Parish Workstations

Intel Pentium III, 800 MHz or better processor
128MB of RAM for Windows 2000 (256MB of RAM required for XP)
200 MB of available hard disk space
CD-ROM Drive

Software

Parish Workstations

Microsoft Windows 2000, XP (for workstations), or Vista.
Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, 2003 Server, and Vista to serve the ParishSOFT database (if desired; alternatively, ParishSOFT database may be run on a workstation)
Microsoft® Office 2000, 2003, or 2007, including Microsoft Access (please note that ParishSOFT databases should not be upgraded to to Access 2007 at this time)
Internet Connection (dialup is adequate although broadband is preferred)
Adobe Acrobat Reader
Internet Explorer 5 or higher
