The Diocesan Catholic Directory Manager harnesses the power of your AIM database to streamline the annual update process for the Official Catholic Directory™*. The Official Catholic Directory is published by National Register Publishing's P.J. Kenedy & Sons imprint, with whom ParishSOFT has no affiliation.
Parishes using ParishSOFT's church management software already have up-to-date staff and census data that they manage as part of their daily parish operations. Rather than manually preparing detailed paper forms and reports for the Directory™*, they can quickly and easily compile their census and organization data directly from their ParishSOFT databases. Using the Catholic Directory Manager, they update the data for the current year and submit their final report to the diocese online. Your organizations that are not using ParishSOFT can use it, too.
Once the parish submits its Directory update to the diocese, the Catholic Directory Manager compares the parish's submission with data for that organization as it exists currently in the AIM Diocesan Directory database. Using a simple web-based interface, the diocese reviews the form, reconciles any differences, and submits the final report for each parish to the Chancellor's office online. The diocese can choose to update their Diocesan Directory database instantly with the changes to organization information that were detected during the update process. Keeping data current for the organizations within a diocese has never been so simple.
